わ Memorization Story
The right side of the hiragana for わ is the shape that our 7/11 employee’s mouth makes when Reading the hiragana わ. The left side is, of course, that 7/11 employee and his wacky necktie.
ワ Memorization Story
The katakana on the other hand takes us back to our punching friend ウ. This is what he looks like when he immediately gets WHAcked in the head by a WHACK A MOLE hammer after punching the Whack a Mole master’s friend. He is so surprised that he exclaims: WOW!
Writing
The hiragana わ has the same left side as ね and れ. The 3 of these characters are basically all the same up until you’re final turn down. Then there’s all kinds of weird stuff going on.
Make sure to start from the TOP of the 1st stroke.
