“TA” sound in Tacos.

た Memorization Story

The hiragana た looks like a small T, and a character we’ve already learned, こ. So we can immediately think, Taco! Although, taco in Japanese is タコス. Don’t forget that this character is just read た though and not Tko. 

タ Memorization Story

The katakana タ is an upside down Taco, with one little piece of lettuce left hanging on inside. OR, I could totally see a cute little shark… A Taco loving Shark… Raising his hand up to say he wants a taco.
